Managing Existing Document Templates

After creating document templates, you can manage them from the main Document Templates tab in the Manage section.

Document templates list overview

The document templates list displays all your uploaded templates in a table format with the following columns:

Template name

  • Shows the descriptive name of the template.
  • Primary identifier for searching and selecting templates.

File size

  • Displays the size of the uploaded file.
  • Helps identify large files that may take longer to load or send.

Status

  • Shows the current status of the template:
    • Active – Template is enabled and available for use in bookings, bills of lading, and workspace.
    • Inactive – Template is disabled and hidden from selection lists.

Action column

  • View icon (eye) – Preview or download the document template.
  • Edit icon (pencil) – Modify template name or replace the file.

Viewing a document template

  1. Locate the template in the list.
  2. Click the view icon (eye) in the Action column.
  3. The document will open for preview or download.
  4. Use this to verify the template content before using it in operations.

Editing a document template

  1. Locate the template in the list.
  2. Click the edit icon (pencil) in the Action column.
  3. The document form will open with existing information.
  4. You can:
    • Change the document name.
    • Update associated information.
  5. Save your changes.
