Use these practices to keep documentation organised and flowing smoothly.
Document organisation
- Use clear, descriptive file names when uploading.
- Upload documents promptly when received to maintain a complete record.
- Verify document accuracy before sending to avoid delays and corrections.
Using templates effectively
- Use templates from Document Templates Management for standard documents.
- Select the appropriate template based on document type and destination requirements.
- Ensure template content is current and compliant with regulations.
Timely communication
- Send documents as soon as they are available.
- Follow up on documents that require customer or agent action.
- Keep a clear history of document exchanges in the Documentation tab.
Moving to the next stage
Once all required documents have been exchanged and verified:
- For Export bookings – Drag the card to the Invoice column.
- For Import bookings – Drag the card to the Delivery Order column to proceed with cargo release.
