What’s the difference between customer bookings and operator-created manifests?
Customer bookings are automatically created when clients submit requests through the Portmasters marketplace. Operator-created manifests are for orders received outside the system (phone, email, etc.) that need to be tracked in Portmasters. Both types follow the same workflow once in the system.
Can I add a new container while creating a manifest?
Yes. Click the + icon next to the Container dropdown in Part 2 to add a new container. The container will be registered in Container Management and linked to this manifest.
What do the red dots on manifest cards indicate?
Red dots are status indicators that highlight items requiring attention. This could indicate missing information, pending approvals, or actions that need to be completed before the booking can progress.
How do I export manifest data?
Use the EDI button to export data in electronic interchange format for system integrations, or use the PDF button to generate a printable document. Both options are available in the top right of the manifest detail view.
