Using Services in Invoicing

Services integrate directly with the invoicing workflow in Portmasters.

Invoice creation process

1. Operator creates an invoice for a shipment.
2. Operator selects applicable services from the services catalog.
3. Operator enters the price for each selected service.
4. Services and their prices appear as line items on the invoice.
5. The invoice total is calculated from all service charges.

Pricing flexibility

• Services store only the name, not the price.
• Prices are entered individually when creating invoices.
• This allows flexible pricing per shipment and per customer.
• Prices can vary by route, season, volume, or commercial agreements.
