Managing Existing Manifests
After manifests are created (either from customer bookings or operator-created), you can manage them from the Manifest / BL column in the Workspace.
Manifest card overview
Each manifest appears as a card in the column displaying:
- Origin → Destination route.
- Booking ID.
- Issue date.
- Status indicators (e.g., red dots indicating items requiring attention).
Accessing manifest details
- Click on any manifest card to open the detailed view.
- The header displays the complete route with a progress line, Import/Export designation, Booking ID, service type, and the Assign to dropdown.
Workflow progress indicator
- Below the header, a visual progress indicator shows the current stage in the workflow as connected circles.
- For Import bookings: Manifest/BL → Invoice → Documentation → Delivery Order → Detention → Archive.
- For Export bookings: Manifest/BL → Documentation → Invoice → Telex Release → Archive.
- The current stage is highlighted in purple.
Export options
In the top right of the detail view, two export buttons are available:
- EDI – Export manifest data in EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) format for system integrations.
- PDF – Generate a PDF version of the manifest for printing or sharing.
Editing a manifest
- Click on the manifest card to open the detail view.
- Use the Manifest tab to view all current information.
- Make your desired changes to any field in Part 1 or Part 2.
- Click Save Manifest to update the manifest.
Note
Changes to manifest information may affect generated documents. Ensure accuracy before saving, especially for fields that appear on Bills of Lading.
Assigning team members
- Use the Assign to dropdown in the header to assign the manifest to a specific team member.
- Team members can filter the Workspace to see only their assigned bookings.
Moving to the next stage
Once the manifest is complete, drag the card to the next column to continue the workflow:
- For Export bookings: Move to Documentation.
- For Import bookings: Move to Invoice.
