Sending Documents
Use the Documentation tab to send and receive documents for a booking.
Opening the send dialog
- Open the booking and go to the Documentation tab.
- Click the + Send new documents button in the top right corner, or click the + Send new document link in the empty state.
The Send new documents dialog will appear.
Option 1: Upload a file
The upload area shows a cloud upload icon with the text “Drag and drop files here” and supported formats.
- Drag and drop files into the upload area, or
- Click Browse file to select files from your computer.
Supported formats
- PDF (recommended for official documents).
- Doc/Docx (Word documents).
- Image files (JPG, PNG, etc.).
Option 2: Select a template
Below the upload area (separated by “OR”) is the template selection option.
- Select template – Choose a document template from the dropdown.
- Templates come from Document Templates Management (Manage → Document Templates).
- Use templates for standard documents that should follow a consistent layout.
Completing the send
- After uploading a file or selecting a template, click Next.
- Complete any additional steps such as adding notes or selecting recipients.
- Submit to send the document.
