Creating and Editing Terms and Conditions
The Terms and Conditions section provides a simple editor for creating your company’s standard legal terms.
Access the Terms and Conditions editor
- Navigate to the Manage section and click on the Terms and Conditions tab.
- The Terms and Conditions editor will appear with two main sections.
Editor components
Short text
- A brief summary or title for your terms and conditions.
- May appear as a header or reference in documents.
- Single-line text field.
- Examples:
Standard Shipping Terms,Carrier Liability Clauses,General Terms of Carriage.
Full text
- The complete, detailed terms and conditions content.
- Rich text editor with formatting options.
- Large multi-line text area for comprehensive legal text.
Rich text editor features
Text formatting
- B (Bold) – Emphasize important text.
- I (Italic) – Italicize text for emphasis or citations.
Headings
- H1 – Major section headings (largest).
- H2 – Sub-section headings (medium).
- H3 – Sub-sub-section headings (smaller).
List formatting
- Bullet list – Create bulleted lists.
- Numbered list – Create numbered lists.
These formatting options help structure your terms and conditions for clarity and readability.
Writing your terms and conditions
You can follow a structured format, for example:
- Definitions.
- Carrier’s liability.
- Shipper’s responsibilities.
- Claims and time limits.
- Jurisdiction and governing law.
Saving your changes
- Enter or edit the Short Text and Full Text fields.
- Use the formatting tools to structure your content.
- Click the Save Changes button.
- Your terms and conditions are now saved and available for use.
