What file formats are supported for document upload?
Portmasters supports PDF, Doc (Word documents), and image files. PDF is recommended for official documents as it preserves formatting and is universally accepted.
What’s the difference between uploading a file and selecting a template?
Uploading a file lets you share any document from your computer. Selecting a template uses pre-configured documents from Document Templates Management, which may auto-populate with booking information and ensure consistent formatting.
Where do the templates in the dropdown come from?
Templates are created and managed in the Document Templates Management section under Manage. Uploaded templates there become available in the “Choose a document template” dropdown.
Can I access documents from a booking that has moved to Archive?
Yes. All documents remain accessible in the Documentation tab even after a booking is archived. This ensures complete historical records for audits and reference.
How do I add a new template to the dropdown?
Add templates in Manage → Document Templates. Once uploaded and active, they will appear in the template dropdown in the Documentation tab.
